Favorite Ice Age Animal: Saïga Antelope

Emilie had always dreamed of moving to the North and made this dream a reality in April of 2016. After graduating from a Tourism program at Montmorency College in Laval, Quebec, Emilie made her way to Whitehorse, Yukon. She was a hard-working student and rewarded for her contribution to the industry. Once in Whitehorse, Emilie applied to the Yukon Beringia Interpretive Centre to pursue an internship and become an Interpretive Guide.

Beringia’s past is all about unanswered wonderings and controversies and Emilie has always been passionate about the mysteries surrounding our historic world. Since starting at the Beringia Centre, and working with the wonderful team of interpreters, she has learned how interesting it is to dig into the past and the challenges associated with uncovering the mysteries that the ancient world has to offer.
