Peeter Lepson

Favourite Ice Age Animal: Black-footed ferret

Peeter has been with the Beringia Centre since 2008, and he loves the human and natural history that the Centre talks about. He enjoys sharing what he knows and having the opportunity to keep learning more.

“My favourite Beringian animal is the black-footed ferret,” he says, “I particularly love the story of the miner’s dog making the discovery near Sixtymile.”

Peeter’s background is in biology, outdoor education and fine arts. He loves the natural environment and enjoys spending time outside in any season.

Please contact Peeter if you have any questions about the Centre’s interpretive programs or if you would like to book a tour.
