The Great Stocking Experiment 3

When researchers first approached the Beringia Centre with their proposal to conduct The Great Stocking Experiment here, management was skeptical.  The hypothesis that Santa might fill up stockings left up over Christmas in a Museum seemed like utter madness   However, after two years of careful experimentation, that is exactly what the data appears to show.

Researchers are almost fully convinced this is a real phenomenon, but they would like to be absolutely sure before publishing their results.  If you want to be part of science history, come to Beringia Centre on December 9, decorate a stocking, and leave it over the holidays.  Return boxing week, and see if your stocking was filled.   Your contributions to the burgeoning field of Santa-ology just might make the extensive footnotes in an obscure science journal somewhere…cuz we all know – it’s not about the presents …it’s about the science.

And to continue on our Ice Age movie marathon, we will be showing Ice Age: A Christmas Special throughout the day!

Doors open at 12 PM

Stocking Experiment is between 1 PM and 4 PM.

Free admission to the Centre.

See you there!
