Making a Goolacier ...It's Alive, It's Alive!
Our resident Science nerd is at it again, and this time he wants to take a closer look at glaciers. Glaciers may look like solid blocks of ice, but in reality …they are alive! I mean, what do you call things that consume stuff, poop it out, roar, grow, modify their environment, move across the landscape, and even seemingly …die? Come learn about these gentle giants that still range across the high mountains of Yukon. By creating a gooey glacier, participants will see how glaciers behave in their habitat and maybe even why –with global warming –they might be an endangered species!
Time: 1:30PM to 2:30PM
Cost: Free with regular admission or family membership
