Christopher

Favourite Ice Age Animal: Jefferson Ground Sloth

Christopher was born in England but has lived in the Yukon since 1975. He has diplomas in Fine Arts and Computer Studies, as well as a degree in Education – not to mention he’s is also a certified Power Engineer!  His real passions though are photography and the natural world.  And, as someone who loves knowledge, working at the Beringia Centre is the perfect gig.

While most people would be satisfied with simply knowing that prehistory is important -- not Christopher!   He wants to know all the details. You can find his nose in a book; so, he is ready for all those tough questions.

“I love sharing information about Beringia with our guests”, Christopher states, "almost as much as I love learning from them!”

In his spare time, you can find Christopher hiking in the wilderness with his wife, their dogs and … of course … a camera.

Please contact Christopher if you have any questions about the Centre’s interpretive programs or if you would like to book a tour.
