Booked Tours
During the summer, guided tours of the centre are available daily and are included in the cost of admission. On these tours, our interpretive team will dig deeper into the world of ice age Yukon, highlighting how Beringia has changed our world. All visitors are welcome to join us on one of these tours.
During the winter, tours are only available if booked in advance.
We also offer booked tours of the centre. These may involve a more in-depth presentation, and can follow any particular theme at your request. We will try to accommodate special requests that fall within our mandate as much as possible.
Booked School Tours
Looking for a great educational fieldtrip to get your students out of the classroom? Look no further!
Our interpretive team can provide a unique and memorable experience for your class. When booking your school tour, you'll be able to choose from our standard set of programming options, and we recommend checking our Teacher Materials page for information on which programs best fit your class. We also offer themed tours, organized into "grade-groupings", with an outline of BC/Yukon curriculum connections for each theme. Please note that custom themes are subject to staff availability.

Booked tours cost $4 per adult or student (for groups of 8 people or more), with no cost for tour leaders, teachers, or support staff.
If you would like to book a tour contact our interpretive team. Tours must be booked a minimum of two weeks in advance and are subject to staff availability.
If you’re coming in with a class, please ensure that you have sufficient staff and chaperones to manage your students.
Programs
As part of a booked tour, visitors will be able to choose from a variety of programming options, including:
- an introduction to the topic
- viewings of our 18 or 35 minute films
- a mock dig*
- an atlatl demonstration*
- a guided tour of the exhibits, or
theme-based activities and tours for school groups.
