Guided tours of the centre are available daily to the public, and are included in the cost of admission. On these tours, our interpretive team will dig deeper into the world of ice age Yukon, highlighting how Beringia has changed our world.
Tours are offered daily at 11:15 a.m. and 2:15 p.m., and run for approximately 40 minutes. All visitors are welcome to join us on one of these tours.
We also offer booked tours of the centre. These may involve a more in-depth presentation, and can follow any particular theme at your request. We will try to accommodate special requests that fall within our mandate as much as possible.
As part of a booked tour, visitors will be able to choose from a variety of programming options, including:
- an introduction to the topic
- viewings of our 17- or 35-minute films
- a mock archaeological dig
- an atlatl demonstration
- a guided tour of the exhibits, or
- theme-based activities.
Booked tours cost $4 per person (for groups of 8 people or more), with no cost for tour leaders or support staff.
If you would like to book a tour contact our interpretive team.
We offer a variety of public programs throughout the year, facilitated by our talented interpretive team.
