Serving liquor requires any renter, vendor, or caterer to hold a valid Government of Yukon Liquor License. Not-for-profit groups must apply for a Special Occasion Permit from the Yukon Liquor Corporation. Private groups must apply for a Reception Permit.
General Liability Insurance must also be purchased by the renter at a minimum of $1,000,000 inclusive per event. The renter must provide proof of insurance prior to their use of the premises. Once insurance has been obtained, the Beringia Centre will provide a letter of permission allowing the group to serve alcohol on the premises.
